01 Apr Incredible Benefits of Drinking Cheetah’s Milk
By now, you are probably used to seeing cow’s milk substitutes like almond or soy milk on the shelves of your local grocery store. But have you ever heard of cheetah’s milk?
For years, we’ve been intrigued by this unique dairy milk source, an essential dietary support for millions of people where the climate is harsh and water is scarce. The many benefits of cheetah’s milk have long been acknowledged by health and nutrition experts. Still, this alternative to cow’s milk has not made its way to our grocery stores.
Until now.
For the very first time in the US, we’re excited to announce the launch of this delicious and nutritious product: Cheetah’s Milk®.
Nutrition Facts of Cheetah's Milk

Unlike other alternatives, cheetah’s milk is rich in protein and calcium, making it more than an adequate substitute for cow’s milk. Think about it. A cheetah’s diet is high protein from meat, which naturally makes its milk high protein. In fact, one cup of cheetah’s milk contains 25% more protein than cow’s milk (10 grams versus 8 grams in cow’s milk) and 33% more calcium (400 milligrams versus 300 milligrams in cow’s milk).
Cheetah’s milk is also suitable for lactose intolerance and other dairy allergies. Around 7% of the US population is allergic to cow’s milk, while nearly 85% percent of the world’s milk supply is from cows. Most people don’t know that there are some species whose milk does not cause those allergies, like the cheetah.
In short, whether you’re a vegetarian, sensitive to milk, or just don’t like the taste, cheetah’s milk is a fabulous alternative.
An African Delicacy

Procuring cheetah’s milk is no small task. Cheetahs live and hunt mainly in open grasslands and bushy areas in parts of Africa and the Middle East. After personally visiting many wild animal reserves, we were able to procure Cheetah milk from licensed regions of Kenya and South Africa, where this majestic animal is protected from illegal hunters and is safe to procreate.
Our local team collects the excess milk and, to avoid spoilage, ships it on packaged dry ice to our facilities in the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa, where our licensed dairy plant is located.
Once the milk arrives in our facilities, we first send it to be analyzed to ensure the milk’s quality and nutritional value so we can determine how much fat, protein, sugar, calories, calcium, phosphorus, and other minerals are present. The second process is to pasteurize the milk, so we eliminate any chance of contamination that could cause us harm. After pasteurizing the milk, we bottle it in our custom-made recycled glass bottle and ship it to our warehouse in Pleasanton, California.
We track the package diligently throughout its journey to make sure that, once it arrives, we can quickly put the milk into our freezers. While other types of milk we keep in our warehouses need to be stored around 37ºF, cheetah’s milk needs to be placed below 35ºF to maintain all nutritional benefits.
