Sign The National Restaurant Association
Petition to Congress

The National Restaurant Association (NRA) has put together a restaurant recovery plan that provides direct and targeted relief to all restaurants and foodservice businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

In a letter to the President and congressional leaders sent last Wednesday, the NRA urges Trump and Congress to take action fast to save what’s left of the restaurant industry. They proposed three separate categories of protection for industry restaurants and employees:

  • Directed/targeted financial relief
  • Loans/insurance options for impacted small businesses
  • Tax measures

This grassroots mobilization effort is meant to offer direct relief, community grants, loans and business interruption insurance, lost revenue coverage, unemployment assistance for workers, tax breaks and more to those who need it most.

The organizers need your help to ensure these efforts have a meaningful impact. Contact your local representative and show your support by signing your name, telling your story and spreading the word.

The Independent Restaurant Coalition (IRC) is advancing the belief that communities have the power to affect legislative change and help save local restaurants affected by COVID-19. The national movement is welcoming people to get involved, tell their story and speak directly to lawmakers about the fate of the restaurant industry.
